The conference hotel, which is the venue for all technical sessions, is the
Omni
San Diego Hotel in downtown San Diego, adjacent to many
of San Diego's best attractions including the famous Gaslamp District.
We have negotiated a discounted rate of $199 per night plus taxes ($224/night total)
from the hotel, and will provide a significant number of rooms at the prevailing
government rate. The close proximity of the hotel to the airport and
convenience to the city will enable guests to avoid car rental and parking costs.
For reservations, call 800-THE-OMNI (800-843-6664) and ask for the "IEEE joint ICOPS/SOFE conference" room block. These rooms will be held until May 8, but we encourage participants to book their rooms early. We are expecting the rooms to sell quickly.
