ICOPS/SOFE is conveniently located within walking distance of many downtown attractions (see map in new window). The downtown area can be busy, especially during baseball season. The organizers highly recommend you NOT bring a car to downtown San Diego. Valet parking at the Omni Hotel costs $30/night, and other options are severely limited due to the close proximity of the baseball park (games are scheduled Mon-Tues-Wed evenings).

Note, the Omni does not provide an airport shuttle. However, the hotel is a short 3-mile (5 km) inexpensive taxi ride from the airport. The Gaslamp Quarter trolley station is located adjacent to the hotel.
